Brands awards Middleby "S.T.A.R. Supplier Award For 2002"
During the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago Yum presented Middleby the "S.T.A.R Supplier-Regional Equipment" award for international support. Lyall Newby Director, International Equipment for Yum presented the award to Sam Sidani General Manager MWW the international distribution division of Middleby. The S.T.A.R ( Supplier Tracking Assessment and Recognition ) program was developed by Yum to measure six key business performance categories: cost, technology, manufacturing reliability, service maintenance, business relations and ongoing quality of their suppliers. YMU! Brands, Inc. is a quick service restaurant (QSR) company with nearly 33,000 restaurant in over 100 countries and territories. YUM is made up of six operating companies. The six operating companies are KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, LJS, A&W and YUM Restaurants International. The S.T.A.R ward is given to the "Best of the Best" |
